I raced a Buick GNX after beating him I pulled over at a gas station and he followed me. We were shooting the shit, and he says "oh shit!". I look in my rearview mirror and see blue lights. We had been sitting there at least 2-3 minutes talking. Two cops one old, one young. The young one looked pissed, said they in a shopping center and saw us leave the red light. My car spun at the top (as soon as turbos spooled) of first and alerted them. They would have never caught us but we pulled over on the same road. Anyway young was busting our balls, old guy was pretty interested in our cars. Old guy asked me what I did for a living, I told him coach, school teacher. He said I should know better, went to talk to pissed off young cop. They old us to take it to the track and let us go.
They could have written us a reckless driving ticket, for which you MUST go to court.
We got lucky,
